Science fiction er død, science fiction længe leve

 

Arthur C. Clarke, manden bag "Rumrejsen år 2001", "Childhood's End", "The Fountains of Paradise" og temmelig meget mere i den mere "hard-core" videnskabeligt orienterede afdeling af science fiction, er død.

I stedet for en af de nekrologer, man snart vil kunne finde over det hele, vil jeg opfordre til at ære mesteren ved at gå ind og læse en satirisk fortælling, der beviser at science fiction-genrens ånd lever og har det godt.
